A 3-day training workshop on “Digital Data and Tools for Managing Agriculture: Focusing on Earth Observation Data and Climate Change” is organized jointly by IIIT Bhubaneswar, IWMI (International Water Management Institute) and IEEE GRSS Kolkata Chapter.
The three-days offline workshop will introduce Digital Data and Tools for managing Agriculture, specifically focusing on the role of Earth Observation data in agricultural management and the impact of Climate Change on agriculture and food security. Participants will learn about the latest advancements in Earth observation technologies, big data analytics, and digital tools that can help predict and make robust, evidence-based decisions as they confront challenges in the food system, urban water pollution, implementation to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and nexus.
