Fellowships
In order to continue to attract the best and brightest students the Institute aims to offer fellowships that provide funds to outstanding Post-Graduate students. Fellowship support is an important link between your organization and the Institute. This support helps create partnerships with Post-Graduate students and faculty that can address your research and recruiting needs.
The company benefits in the following ways: a. Providing a fellowship will allow your organization to develop a direct relationship with one or more graduate students through interactions that could include internships, research collaborations or mentoring opportunities, b.Fellowships exemplify an organization's commitment to education. Supporting deserving students creates a partnership that is recognized by the student supported and the Institute, c.Fellowships provide an excellent opportunity to forge an ongoing relationship with the faculty that advise the students you support.
- Endowed
- An endowed scholarship can be
established with a gift of Rs.20,00,000 or more. Funding commitments may be
met over a five-year period. An endowed scholarship will exist in
perpetuity. The scholarship can carry the name of your organization.
Recipients are funded from the endowment earnings.
- Expendable
- An expendable scholarship can be established with gifts of Rs. 70,000 or more. Recipients are funded by the gift itself.

Student events
The Students Executive Council -- the student governing body -- represents over 300 students. There are Special
Interest Societies. Each society is free to conduct activities for its
own constituents. The SEC also sponsors a series of programs and events
that the entire IIIT community can participate in and enjoy. These
events are student-planned and executed, but require outside support to
be fully realized.
Sponsorship of student events at IIIT is an excellent way to raise the profile of your
organization and leave a positive impression among a key audience of
potential recruits. The
Student projects
The Institute aims to provide students with practical
experiences that build upon their engineering education.
Student projects are an
excellent opportunity for your organization to challenge students with
projects that have specific time, budget and design considerations.
Project sponsorship allows students to apply their engineering skills
to your organization's challenges. Project sponsors retain the
intellectual property rights to any advances in technology or
techniques that the students devise. Through project sponsorship, you
are introduced to a group of highly motivated prospective employees.
Providing a student project helps introduce your organization to
students, and faculty, and provides insight into the operations of your
organization and the types of challenges you face.
Student societies
IIIT has numerous Student initiated societies. Working with these organizations to support organization activities,
speaking engagements, etc, provides an important mechanism for raising
your profile on campus within core groups of students.
